Johan Peleman
Managing Director of Research and Development
Dr. Johan Peleman joined Nunhems as Managing Director of Research and Development in March 2007.
He was born in Belgium in 1960. He started his career as a scientist at the State University of Ghent in 1989. In 1990, he joined the start-up biotech company Keygene, where he pioneered the application of DNA markers to innovate breeding. In 2004, he was appointed Director of Applied Research of Keygene in Wageningen, the Netherlands. In this position, Dr. Peleman was part of the management board.
