Lettuce Field Day

On Thursday, September 16, 2010, Nunhems holds a salad demo day in Lambsheim, Pfalz (Palatinate).

We kindly invite you to take part in this event, talk to our salad specialists and learn more about Nunhems' current assortment. The field day also offers a good opportunity to exchange experiences with salad growers from across Germany and other countries like the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Austria and Scandinavia.



On our demo field, you will find an interesting selection of innovative new and established varieties, including:

• Nun 8014 (formerly: Amber), our new Lollo Bionda, that presented itself as particularly good and reliable this summer
• new varieties of the Little Gem type with a nice internal red color
• our new Iceberg varieties Gondar, Kindu and Templin for a reliable four-season production
• and our well-known, established varieties like the Butterheads Celene, Veronique and Mafalda

Our sales specialists Martin Huege and Stefan Hermans will assist you from 10 am to 8 pm with comprehensive variety and growing advice - a competent team with excellent contacts in the world of salads.

On a neighboring field, Bayer CropScience, Nunhems' mother company, will present new developments and spraying cycles for salad production.

A cook will be there to provide you with delicious and freshly prepared dishes.
