Vegetables of the future
Province Limburg, The Netherlands.On November 25, Nunhems' Marketing and Sales Director Ko Remijnse was invited by the Dutch regional television channel L1 TV to talk about innovations in vegetables, the ongoing growth of Nunhems, and the many benefits that the vegetable seed business delivers to consumers.

Ko Remijnse addressed some of the current development trends in the industry that focus on making the life of consumers easier with flavorful and convenient vegetables. This involves, for example, tomatoes that do not lose its juice after cutting - like Nunhems' award-winning Intense™, or seedless cucumbers and watermelons. In 10 years from now, we might even find onions in our local supermarkets that won't make you cry.
He emphasized that the Netherlands hold an important position in the global vegetable seed industry. Nunhems, with headquarters in the Southeastern Dutch province of Limburg, has grown at dynamic speed over the past years, and expects continuous growth also for the future. With currently almost 1,500 employees in more than 40 countries and sales of EUR 221million in 2008, Nunhems is among the world's four leading vegetable seed companies.
