The primary role of Logistics is to translate forecasted sales demand for Nunhems 28 species into a strategic global supply plan prepared to efficiently utilize global operational resources. The goal is to insure timely availability and delivery to Nunhems customers. This is accomplished via a coordinated global/ local crop approach. Key functions in this process include:

• Production Planning
• Monitoring crop and sales updates
• Providing processing priorities that balance the needs of all crops
• Continually monitoring inventory availability
• Serve as a business partner for Sales and Marketing in decisions regarding inventory and supply.
